Subject: References from Circles regarding clarifications in connection with payment of incentive to the DOP staff for activities related to monitoring, supervision or delivery of PMV toolkits – reg.

This has reference to Postal Directorate letter of even no. dated 13.08.2025 issuing thereby revised structure for payment of incentive to Circle/Divisional Mail Monitoring Units, Parcel Hub staff supervisory staff of Delivery offices, and Delivery staff engaged in monitoring/delivery of PM Vishwakarma (PMV) toolkits.

References have been received from Circles seeking thereby different clarifications on the payment of incentive to Circle/Divisional Mail Monitoring Units, supervisory staff of Delivery offices, Parcel Hub staff and Delivery staff engaged in monitoring/delivery of PM Vishwakarma (PMV) toolkits. Besides, references have also been received from various Circles seeking thereby details of Head of Account and GL Code for booking of incentive payment to DOP staff under APT 2.0.

The matter has been examined. It is observed that there is a need for thorough examination of all the issues as raised by the Circles regarding payment of incentive to DOP staff so that consolidated clarifications in the matter can be issued. Besides, details of HOA and GL Code for disbursement of incentive to DOP staff are still not clear and the matter has been taken up with PAF Wing of the Directorate.

In view of the above, it has been decided that payment of incentive to all category of DOP staff for monitoring, supervision or delivery of PMV toolkits may be kept in abeyance till further instructions.
