I am directed to refer to the above-mentioned subject and to say that vide this office letter of even no. dated 01.10.2025 (copy enclosed), the last date of receipt of nominations for Meghdoot Awards, 2025 was extended till 05.11.2025

With the approval of competent authority, the last date of receipt of nominations has been extended till 20.11.2025.

Subject: Meghdoot Awards, 2025 – Revised Timelines for Nominations – regarding.

Madam/Sir,

Kindly refer to this office letter of even number dated 27.08.2025 regarding calling of nominations for Meghdoot Awards, 2025. The Awards are now likely to be given during the month of December, 2025.

In view of the revised schedule for conferring the Meghdoot Awards, 2025, the revised timelines for processing nominations at Circle level are hereby extended as under:

a) Last date for receipt of nominations at Circle level – 15.10.2025

b) Circle-level screening and finalization by Circle Screening Committee – 30.10.2025

c) Forwarding of recommended nominations to Directorate – 05.11.2025

Circles, are therefore requested that all recommendations, complete in all respects and accompanied by the required documents, be forwarded to the Directorate not later than 05th November, 2025. Nominations received after this date may be considered only at the discretion of the competent authority.
