Subject: Clarifications regarding Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) scheme.

This is regarding the references received from various circles regarding non availability of mobile app usage reports in new MIS required for reimbursement under BYOD Scheme.

It is hereby clarified that under the IT 2.0, circles may utilize the ‘Delivery Mobile App Usage Report’ available in the new MIS for monitoring of usage of mobile app for delivery / processing of accountable articles.

It is reiterated that to be eligible for BYOD, delivery staff has to mandatorily process 90% of the total received articles through mobile app. No. of articles delivered may not be considered for remuneration under BYOD scheme. It has been observed that sometimes due to this misapprehension, remuneration of delivery staff is not processed. It is to be ensured that delivery staff as well as supervisory staff is aware of it.

All the circles are requested to direct the concerned Divisional Heads for timely reimbursement under BYOD scheme, which is crucial for keeping the delivery staff enrolled in BYOD and attract remaining delivery staff to participate in this scheme.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
