India Post LDCE Result 2025: Postman/Mail Guard Promotion

Sub : Declaration of result in r/o Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the cadre of Postman/Mail Guard from eligible MTS for the vacancy year 2025, held on 21.09.2025 & DEST held on 01.12.2025.

I am directed to forward the result of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for promotion to the cadre of Postman/ Mail Guard from eligible Multi-Tasking Staff for the vacancy year 2025 (01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025) held on 21.09.2025 & DEST held on 01.12.2025 as Annexure - A.

Division-wise vacancies of Postman/Mail Guard for the year 2025 has already been circulated vide this office notification no. R&E/77-17/2025 dated 15.07.2025. The summary of filled and unfilled vacancies is enclosed as Annexure - B. Five vacancies notified under PwBD category remained unfilled due to non-availability of qualified candidate.

Three posts notified under SC category (one each in Dharamshala, Shimla and Solan Division) and two posts notified under ST category (one each in Dharamshala and Shimla Division) also remained unfilled due to non-availability of qualified candidate. All the unfilled vacancies will now be added to the number of vacancies under 50% quota to be filled by Direct Recruitment on the basis of CE limited to GDS, as per Recruitment Rules.

Allotment of Divisions/Units to selected candidates has been made as per instructions contained in Directorate letter No. 17-08/2018-SPN-I dated 18.10.2023 & 31.10.2023. This allotment is also subject to change, if any discrepancy found in allotment later on.

The information relating to names of the candidates, their roll numbers, categories, post-categories, date of birth and date of appointment have been shown on the basis of information furnished by the Regions/Divisions/Units. In case, there are any mistakes in the details of candidates, the same may be intimated to this office for necessary action. In case, if it is found subsequently that any of the promoted/ selected candidate was not eligible for the examination/selection under the existing rules/ instructions on the subject or for any other reasons or in case any mistake is found with regard to declaration of result of any candidate for any reason whatsoever, his/her name will be deleted from the list of successful candidates, as the case may be. This result is also subject to change in the merit list of successful candidates due to any unforeseen reason in accordance with the existing rules and instructions on the subject.

The result of all successful candidates is subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria to be decided by the concerned Divisional/Unit Head and vigilance status of the candidates. The officials/candidates against whom vigilance or disciplinary case is pending/ those undergoing punishment should not be promoted and such cases should be referred back to this office as per directions of Directorate's Letter No. X-7/6/2022-SPN-II dated 17.05.2023, 22.09.2023 and 04.03.2024.

Final Answer Keys of above examination have already been uploaded in the Departmental website i.e. www.indiapost.gov.in on 10.10.2025.

All the Divisional Heads/Appointment Authorities are requested to cause issuance of promotion/appointment orders on or before 16.12.2025. The appointment authorities are also requested to carry out all the required pre-appointment formalities as provided in relevant rules and instructions issued from time to time.

Divisional/Unit Heads are requested to take immediate necessary action for joining of newly selected candidates as per extant provisions. The Divisional/Unit Heads are requested not to send separate letter of carrying out joining process/appointment letters to Circle Office. The joining process should be completed on or before 22.12.2025.

Divisional /Unit Heads concerned are directed to submit the unwillingness/refusal of the candidate by 19.12.2025 positively. If any Division/Unit especially which the candidate is presently working is failed to submit the refusal within stipulated time to Circle Office, they will be held responsible for that.

Request for revised allotment of any candidate will not be entertained.

All Divisional/Unit heads are requested to display the above result on the office notice board.
