Subject: Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the cadre of PS Group ‘B’ for the vacancy years 2021, 2022 and 2023 – Withdrawal/Restoration – regarding

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to refer to the above subject and to say that the Hon’ble CAT, Ernakulum Bench vide order dated 12.11.2025 in OA No. 604/2023 (filed by Sh. N. S. Shankar) has quashed the Directorate letter no. A-34012/04/2023-DE (I) dated 21.11.2023 and No. A-34012/04/2023-DE (II) dated 21.11.2023 and directed the Department to publish the result of the above said LDCE PS Group B, held on 04.06.2023.

The matter has been duly examined and the Competent Authority has decided to comply with the above order dated 12.11.2025 of the Ld. Tribunal.

Accordingly, Letter No. A-34012/04/2023-DE (II) dated 21.11.2023 whereby a fresh notification for said LDCE was issued and subsequently kept in abeyance, is hereby withdrawn. The status of the said notification/letter may be treated as ‘CANCELLED’.

Also, letter no. A-34012/04/2023-DE (I) dated 21.11.2023 stands withdrawn and resultantly Notification No. A-34012/03/2020-DE dated 02.01.2023, in consonance of which the said LDCE was conducted on 04.06.2023, is hereby ‘RESTORED’.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
