Rule-38 grounds of apply code in APT under IT 2.0

Rule-38 Codes (1 to 8)

1️⃣ Spouse Ground (पति/पत्नी आधार पर)

Husband/Wife Basis — Posting requested to the place where the spouse is working.

2️⃣ Medical Ground (स्वास्थ्य आधार)

Health Basis — Transfer required due to serious illness of the employee or their family.

3️⃣ Working Woman Ground (नारी कर्मचारी आधार)

Female Employee Basis — Priority transfer code for women employees.

4️⃣ PwD / Disability Ground (दिव्यांग आधार)

Disability Basis — When the employee or their child/family member has a disability.

5️⃣ General Ground (सामान्य आधार)

General Basis — No special reason; a normal/unilateral general transfer request.

6️⃣ Compassionate / Special Administrative Reason

Special Circumstances Basis — Transfer allowed in very exceptional conditions.

7️⃣ Mutual Transfer (आपसी बदली)

Exchange Transfer — Two employees mutually swap their posting locations.

8️⃣ Surplus / Redeployment / Administrative Transfer

Excess Staff / Adjustment Basis — From an office with excess staff to a place with staff shortage.
