How to Enable NetBanking & Mobile Banking
- Contact your post office where your POSB account stands
- Update CIF ID with Aadhaar number, PAN number, mobile number & email ID
- Submit request for enabling NetBanking & Mobile Banking
- For Mobile Banking → install IndiaPost Mobile Banking App from Google Play Store
- For NetBanking → visit
https://ebanking.indiapost.gov.in(ebanking.indiapost.gov.in in Bing)
NetBanking Activation Steps
- Visit
https://ebanking.indiapost.gov.in(ebanking.indiapost.gov.in in Bing) - Select New User Activation
- Enter Customer ID (CIF ID) & Account ID (Account Number)
- Continue → OTP → Continue
- Set two passwords:
- NetBanking Password (Login)
- Transaction Password (Transactions)
- Continue
Mobile Banking Activation Steps
- Download IndiaPost Mobile Banking App from Google Play Store
- Open app → Login screen → Activate Mobile Banking
- Enter:
- User Name (CIF ID)
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- CIF ID
- Activate
RD/TD Closure via NetBanking
- Login → NetBanking → General Services → Service Requests → New Request → OK
- Select request type: RD/TD closure → OK
- Choose Deposit Type (RD/TD) → Go
- Select Deposit Account (RD/TD Account)
- Select Credit Account (SB Account)
- Submit Online → Enter Transaction Password → OK

- SB/RD/SSA/PPF Deposit
- RD Loan Repayment
- SB to other bank transfer (IFSC Code: IPOS0000DOP)
- RD/TD/NSC/KVP Account Opening
- RD/TD/NSC/KVP Closure / Premature closure (NetBanking only)
- Pay PLI/RPLI Premium
