Speed Net Communication file Transmission issues and Solution

SpeedNet Communication Transmission issues

In Some of the Post offices having issues with Speed Net communication Module while transmitting the files / receiving the files from central server. Last Call status  of Speed Communication was updated in Speed Net MIS but the files neither transmit nor receive.

Solution

1. Check the Internet connectivity if any i.e temporary internet problem.
2. If Internet connectivity is OK then follow the below steps to overcome the above issues.
3. Open the hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) 
4. Check for an entry as shown like speednetmsg.ptcmysore.gov.in, If exists delete it.
5. Add a fresh entry as shown below: 

103.244.127.226 speednetmsg.ptcmysore.gov.in

Save the hosts file on same location. Now Execute the Speed Net communication Module once again.
