Clarification on MIS Death claims - reg

Ref : Your letter No. SB/100/6/2/2022 dated 18-11-24

Kindly refer to your letter cited above on the subject. The case has been examined at this office and it is intimated that in death claim cases, the Finacle system has been configured as per extant rules, exactly to provide interest to all completed months up to the month preceding the month in which refund is made and no loss of interest happens to the depositors.

2.This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
