Subject: Policy for supply of inspection vehicles to entitled class of officers.

Revised guidelines for supply of inspection vehicles to entitled class of officers have been issued vide letters of even No. dated 29th February, 2024 and 8th August, 2024.

2.The revised guidelines issued vide above mentioned letters are in supersession of earlier instructions issued vide letter No. 2-2/2007MV(Pt) dated 7th October, 2015 in respect of instructions relating to inspection vehicles to entitled class of officers only.

Further, there no provision of retro-fitting of ACs in existing old vehicles and the instructions issued vide letter of even No. dated 28th September, 2024 stands withdrawn.
