📌 Compensation Rules
1. Delay Beyond D+1
- Compensation: Full postage refund
2. Loss / Damage / Pilferage
- Compensation: Double the Speed Post charges paid OR ₹1,000 (whichever is less)
📌 Claim Filing Process
- Claims can be filed online or offline
- Must be filed within prescribed time limits
- Claims are settled within 7 working days
- Appeals: Concerned appellate authority decides within 15 days of filing
📌 Time Limits for Filing Claims
- Delay / Damage / Pilferage:
Claim must be filed within 7 working days from the date of delivery - Loss (Undelivered):
Claim must be filed within 7 working days from the expected (committed) delivery date
📌 Exclusions from Compensation
Compensation will not be provided in the following cases:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Customer not available at delivery address
- Force majeure events (natural calamities, strikes, etc.)
- Booking after cut-off time
- Prohibited or falsely declared contents
