Subject: Regarding Procurement of Laptop as a Component of Aadhaar Enrolment Kit under Field Infra Component of IT 2.0

Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to the approval accorded for the inclusion of laptops as a component of the Aadhaar Enrolment Kit for operational use.

Accordingly, procurement of laptops for inclusion in the Aadhaar Enrolment Kit may be undertaken by the Circles, strictly in accordance with UIDAI’s prescribed technical specifications and in compliance with the applicable financial rules and procurement guidelines.

All Circles are requested to take necessary action at the earliest to ensure timely procurement and deployment of laptops as part of the Aadhaar Enrolment Kit, adhering to the prescribed specifications and established procedures.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
