Pre-requisite / procedure of raising a Ticket under HDMS

1.  The Help Desk Management System (HDMS) application is hosted at the CEPT website i.e. http://cept.gov.in  under the ‘Support’ Menu. The Home Page  of  CEPT  website  is  depicted  below.  As  appearing  only  registered  users  has  access  to  the  CEPT  website.  Registered  users  may  login  using their credentials (User name & Password). Others need to first register using the  ‘Signup’  link on this Home Page  highlighted by yellow arrow in the figure below. All Departmental Personnel may be registered as a user of CEPT website. The Signup process is detailed below

Signup Process:

i.  Click on the ‘Signup’ button on the Home Page of the CEPT website http://cept.gov.in. After clicking on ‘Signup’ button following screen appears asking for acceptance of Terms & Conditions. Identify the check box and ‘I Agree’ button.
ii.  Select the Check Box depicted above and Click on the ‘I Agree’ button. The following screen appears asking to fill in the basic details of the user. Please note that email id is to be live and unique.

iii.  Fill in the required details and then click on the ‘Register’ button.

iv.  After  clicking  on  the  ‘Register’  button,  a  dialogue  box  to  confirm  the  correctness  of  details  entered  is  popping  up.  Please  confirm correctness  by  clicking  ‘Ok’  or  otherwise  ‘Cancel’  &  re-enter  the  data  correctly.  Please note that correctness of details is of utmost important. Any registration with junk data shall not be accepted.
v.  After clicking on the ‘OK’ button,  following screen appears containing the ‘Registration ID’.  Please note down this registration ID immediately for future reference. Then Click on the ‘Print’ button.
vi.  The following screen appears after clicking on the ‘Print’ button containing the ‘Registration Form for Membership of CEPT Website’. Please export this registration form as a PDF file using ‘ExportToPdf’ button on top and ‘Save’ it in computer.
vii.  The  said  registration  form  will  appear  as  depicted  in  the  figure  below.  Please  print  it,  get  it  certified  by  the  Divisional  Head  / Controlling Authority and then forward it to CEPT as per instructions contained at the bottom of the registration form.

viii.  Please  note  that  user  name  for  login  to  CEPT  Website  is  the  email  id  entered  at  the  time  of  registration  during  signup  process. However user will get the password to login to CEPT website by email in the registered email id onlyafter activation of the account by CEPT which shall be done only after receipt of duly authenticated registration form at CEPT either thorough email (scanned copy) over support@ceptmysore.net or in mail (hard copy) of by fax. In case due to any reason the Registration Form cannot be printed then please mail the ‘Registration ID’ to  Support@ceptmysore.net  with case details and in case the registration id also could not be noted down then please write to support@ceptmysore.net with your email id, name, dob, designation & office with case details.
