Procedure for Finding Payment Office for Epcod/Bpcod Articles Not Having Booking Information
IDENTIFYING COD ARTICLES NOT HAVING BOOKING INFORMATION:
On tracking the COD article in India Post web site the Booking information will not be available. Sample screenshot is as follows
PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED FOR DELIVERING COD ARTICLES NOT HAVING BOKING INFORMATION AS PER INSTRUCTIONS OF CEPT
As the Booking information for these articles are not available, the COD data for these articles will not be transmitted even if “resent request” is given. Hence as per instructions of CEPT the either one of the following can be done for delivering the article
a. Booking office of the article may be contacted for retransmitting the Booking information or
b. Article can be delivered and eMO can be booked addressing to payment office specifying the COD article number in the remarks column. Then the eMO details for the article should be updated in ‘Disaster Recovery Module’ option
1. Go to ‘Employee corner’ available in India Post Website
2. Select Parcelnet Option. In the Login page type Username : dop and Password : india and select ‘login’.
3. Select Other Report -> Customer details report .
4. Select the Circle, Region and Division office details of Booking Office. The Booking office may be identified by the details available on the article.
5. Payment office may now be identified based on the Customer ID/eBiller ID and Customer Name available on the article.
