Subject:Inclusion of CEPT, Bengaluru (Headquarters and sub-units) under the Karnataka Postal Circle Welfare Board and Sports Board for welfare and sports-related schemes/activities.
Key Directives:
- Employees of CEPT, Bengaluru (HQ & sub-units) will now fall under the jurisdiction of:
- Karnataka Circle Welfare Board (for welfare schemes).
- Karnataka Circle Sports Board (for sports activities).
Welfare Schemes:
- ₹100 per employee allocated to Karnataka Circle Welfare Board for Postal Staff Service Welfare Board (PSSWB) schemes.
- Funds allocated to Karnataka Sports Board for AIP Tournament participation (subject to fund availability and norms).
CEPT must:
Approach Karnataka Circle Welfare Board for funds related to:
- Recreation, excursions, and other PSSWB welfare schemes.
- Coordinate with Karnataka Sports Board for AIP Tournament participation under Karnataka Circle’s team.
- Senior officials of the Department of Posts (e.g., Secretary, Director General).
- All Heads of Postal Circles (especially Karnataka Circle for non-gazetted employee data).
- CEPT General Manager, Bengaluru.
- India Post website/e-Office Notice Board for wider dissemination.
- Sunita (Director, Welfare and Sports).
- Ankit Panwar (Section Officer, Welfare and Sports).
