Subject: Extension of tenure of Mail Overseer (MO) – guidelines regarding.

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to say that the extension of tenure in respect of Mail Overseer after completion of 3 Years tenure may be considered by the DPS(HQ)/DPS Region, as the case may be, on the recommendations of Divisional Head. Divisional Head, while recommending for tenure extension, should send justification based upon his/her past performance as MO. Extension may be allowed only for one year after which mandatory rotation or reversion to Postman cadre, as the case may be, carried out.

This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
