Subject: Retrieval and transportation of NEET (UG) - 2025 unused confidential material from banks
To: All Chief Postmasters General (CPMGs)
Reference is invited to the email dated 20.08.2025 regarding transportation of unused confidential exam material (trunks) of NEET (UG) Examination via Surface Mode. The trunks containing unused confidential material remain securely stored in respective bank branches and now need to be retrieved and transported to the following address:
Instructions for Smooth Operation:
A. Collection/Pick-up of Question Paper Trunks:
- Collect trunks from respective bank branches in sealed condition
- Material is now considered less sensitive post-examination
- Transport using surface transport under standard care
- Authorized staff to carry authority letter for pickup
- Arrange required labor for handling trunks
B. Check list for seal and lock arrangement of Trunks:
- Escort officer must receive trunks in sealed state
C. Booking Arrangements:
- Booking at identified GPO/HO/PO
- Ensure booking under CCTV surveillance
- Commence booking from 28.08.2025
- Book under India Post Parcel contractual services
- Customer ID: 1181146161, Contract ID: 41697839
- Use available barcodes for booking and bagging
- Weigh articles at identified Post Office
- Mention actual or volumetric weight (whichever is higher) with permanent marker

D. Bagging of trunks:
- No separate bag required
- Affix bag label directly on trunk
E. Transmission & Delivery:
- Dispatch through surface mode using MMS/RTN/hired Vehicles/Railway Sections
- Circle monitoring team to monitor movement throughout journey
- Inform Telangana Circle in advance for coordination
- Trunks must not remain unattended during transmission
Telangana Circle Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with each circle from booking to delivery
- Arrange sufficient manpower at Parcel Hub/Railway stations
- Ensure CCTV surveillance at Parcel Hub, Hyderabad
- Obtain proper acquittance from NTA after delivery
- Share delivery challan in PDF to Postal Directorate
Storage: Trunks may be stored at identified booking Post Office/Intermediate Hub/Delivery Hub for optimal vehicle utilization with proper monitoring.
Charges: Special Handling Charge of ₹800 + GST per trunk applicable for pickup & labor charges. Final bill to be raised to NTA, New Delhi.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
