Online Application Process for LDCE IP Exam 2025 in APT 2.0

 Login Information

  • Production / Live URL: http://app.indiapost.gov.in/employeeportal
  • Login Credentials:
    • Login ID: Employee ID (8 digits).
    • Password: Default is Dop@1234. If the candidate has used the portal before, they should use their existing password.
  • First-Time Login: Upon logging in with the default password, the user will be prompted to change it.
  • Password Policy: The new password must contain:
    • At least 1 Uppercase character
    • At least 1 Lowercase character
    • At least 1 Special character
    • At least 1 Digit
    • Minimum length of 8 characters and a maximum of 30 characters.
    • Passwords are case-sensitive.

Accessing the Application Portal

  1. After logging in and changing the password, the user sees a homepage.
  2. Click on the "Self Service" icon.
  3. Then, click on "Recruitment and Promotions".
  4. This redirects to the Recruitment Portal. Select the card titled "Recruitment and Promotions" again.
  5. The portal's sidebar will show two main options:
    • A. Apply Online
    • B. My Applications

"Apply Online" - Filling the Application Form

I. Exam Selection:

  • Eligible and active notifications will be displayed. Select the Exam Name (e.g., LDCE-IP-From-PA-SA) from the dropdown.

II. Auto-Fetched Details (Non-Editable):

  • Basic details like Employee Name, Gender, Category, Date of Birth, Present Cadre, Present Cadre Joining Date, and Present Office Name are automatically fetched from the PIS module.

III. Candidate Updates:

  • Disability: Option to update (Yes/No). If "Yes," must provide Status (Temporary/Permanent), Type, and Percentage.
  • Mobile Number & Email: Changes require OTP authentication. All future communications will be sent to the updated contacts.

IV. Office Details (Auto-Fetched):

  • Parent Office ID, Parent Office Name, Controlling Authority Office, and Nodal Authority Office are fetched from PIS and MDM modules.

V. Service History:

  • Present Cadre details are auto-fetched.
  • If the Present Cadre differs from the Feeder Cadre, the candidate must manually enter the Feeder Cadre and Date of Joining.

VI. Additional Details:

  • Claiming qualifying service with respect to a junior? (Yes/No)
  • Any criminal prosecution pending? (Yes/No)
  • Currently under suspension, disciplinary case pending, or punishment ongoing? (Yes/No)

VII. Saving Details:

  • Verify all data and click "Save Above Details". A green success message will appear if saved correctly. Data becomes read-only; click "Edit" to make changes.

VIII. Position Preferences:

  • For the IP Exam, candidates must provide a preference order for all 23 Postal Circles.

IX. Exam City Preference:

  • Auto-populated based on the Nodal Office city. This field is read-only and cannot be changed.

X. Upload Documents:

  • Photo: JPG format, size 30KB–100KB, aspect ratio 4:5 (portrait, ±10% tolerance).
  • Signature: JPG format, size 20KB–100KB, aspect ratio 5:2 (landscape, ±10% tolerance).

XI. Preview and Submit:

  • Click "Preview and Submit" to review all details.
  • If errors are found, click "Edit" to correct them.
  • Confirm that the Controlling Authority office name is correct.
  • Before final submission, the candidate must confirm:
    • They have read and understood the notification and instructions.
    • All provided details are correct and complete.
    • They understand that false information may lead to rejection/cancellation of candidature.
  • Click "Submit Application". A green message "Application Submitted Successfully" will appear, and no further edits are allowed.

"My Applications" - Tracking and Resubmission

  • This section is used to track submitted applications, view status, and download admit cards.
  • Viewing Application: Click on the Application Number hyperlink to view and download the submitted application PDF.
  • Checking Status: Click on "Status" to see the latest update and a timeline of the application's progress.
  • Downloading Admit Card: When available, an option to download the Hall Ticket/Admit Card will appear in this menu.

Re-submission Process:

  • If the Controlling Authority reverts the application for correction, a "Resubmit Application" hyperlink will appear.
  • Candidates can correct the specific fields marked as incorrect and adjust circle preferences if needed.
  • After making changes, the application must be resubmitted.
  • If there is a disagreement with the changes requested, the candidate should meet with the Controlling Authority in person to resolve it before resubmitting.
  • Failure to resubmit correctly by the deadline may lead to rejection.

Hall Ticket Generation:

  • The admit card will be available for download in the 'My Applications' menu under the candidate login.
