Under Mission Karmayogi, the Department is committed to continuous capacity building of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) to meet operational challenges, market requirements, and customer expectations. With the rollout of Advanced Postal Technology (APT) and the DREAM application, GDS roles have become digitally intensive, requiring enhanced domain knowledge, functional skills, digital competencies, and behavioural capabilities.
