Sub: Clarification regarding CEA claim in respect of Government servants' children admitted in Anganawadis - reg.
Sir,
The undersigned is directed to refer to your letter no.CEA/GNL/11/2023 dated 15.05.2024 on the above subject. On referring the matter, DoPT has clarified the issue as under:
"The CEA reimbursement under the Scheme may be allowed for the children studying in a recognized school institution. Recognized school/institution means a Government school or any education institution whether in receipt of Govt. aid or not, recognized by the Central or State Government or Union Territory Administration or by University or a recognized educational authority having jurisdiction over the area where the institution/school is situated."
The Circle is requested to decide the matter in accordance with the instructions quoted above.
