WUMT Monthly Returns version2.1

Objective

To facilitate submission of monthly returns of Western Union Money Transfer Payments in electronic format to the Postal Accounts Office.

Prerequisites

• .NET Framework Version 3.5

• SQL Connectivity to Meghdoot Server

• Internet Connectivity

The application file should be downloaded and copied to a node which can be used on a regular basis for submitting the returns.

Initialisation

• Enter Meghdoot Server name and Password

• Necessary configurations will be referred to from Meghdoot database

• On clicking ‘Submit’ button, intial file will be submitted to the FTP server.

Schedules & Returns Submission

• After the initial submission is over, date fields are visible for selection.

• Returns should be submitted starting from July 2011 onwards.

• Select the Accounting Period (Monthly. Eg. For SO: 28/06/2011-28/07/2011. For HO: 01/07/2011-31/07/2011) and Click ‘Submit’ to send the monthly returns.

• ‘Print Schedule’ option generates a “.csv” file in the application folder for viewing / printing the schedule.

NOTE:

1. File should be generated & submitted only after the completion of accounting period.

2. Printed  Schedule  and  Vouchers  MUST  be  sent  to  PAO  as  per  the  existing procedure.
