How to do NSC Premature Closure i.e. closure before the maturity date

NSC Premature Closure in DOP Finacle

Menu : CSCCAAC - Cutom Menu for NSC/KVP Account Closure and Closure verification

• Invoke the above mentioned menu in Finacle: CSCCAAC

Closure Date

• The closure value date will be auto populated as BOD. In case of closure due to death, closure value date should be changed to date of death.
• Select the account which needs to be closed prematurely
• Input the closure reason code as one of the below:

OBMIN- Order by Ministry of Finance
FORFT - Forfeiture of certificates
DTCLM- Death claim (in case of closure due to death)

• Mode of repayment allowed will be "Transfer" only and "Cash" mode will not be allowed
