India Post mail Configuration in Microsoft Outlook Client

Pre-requisite:

1. Internet Access or Intranet Access.
2. Availability of Microsoft Outlook for accessing emails through client software.
3. Microsoft Outlook Client 2007 and Above. 

Server Port Numbers

Incoming Server (POP3): 995
Check the option “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”
Outgoing Server (SMTP): 465
Use the following type of encrypted connection: AUTO

Delivery

Select all the 3 options under delivery
“Leave a copy of message on the server”
“Remove from server after 14 days”
“Remove from server when deleted from ‘Deleted Items’”
