Department of Posts should issue a set of commemorative postage stamps featuring two bright daughters of India Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu winning medals for India at Rio Olympics 2016.
It may be recalled that Department of Posts had earlier also set aside rules and norms of not issuing postage stamps on living personalities (except President of India) by issuing a set of two postage stamps in the honour of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar within just 20 days of taking decision.

Sakshi malik has won bronze medal for India at Rio Olympics 2016 in women's freestyle 58kg wrestling event. With this, she has also become first Indian wrestler to win Olympics medal.
In her bronze medal match, Sakshi had defeated Kyrgyzstan's Aisuluu Tynybekova 8-5.
Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has also become the first Indian woman to reach the finals of women's singles badminton event at the Olympics. In Semi-finals she defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara.
