How to search Post Office IFSC code?

DOP recently has ( just before lock down) got the permission from RBI for all payment system i.e NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS, Debit card functionality, UPI etc. Infosys team is also working on Debit card functionality. Very soon DOP shall get these facilities including AEPS.

How to search Post Office IFSC code ?

• Open the below link

https://pfms.nic.in/static/NewLayoutCommonContent.aspx?RequestPagename=Static/BankBranchList.aspx

• Bank Name: India Post (Note: give space between India and post)
• Pin code: Enter CBS Post office Pin code
• BSR code & IFSC code : leave blank
• Click search.

Note :

This IFSC code is pseudo IFSC code maintained by PFMS for DBT credits which are routed through PFMS. This IFSC code cannot be used for NEFT or RTGS. The NEFT/RTGS services not yet started.
