Subject: Introduction of facility to download Interest Certificate from DOP Internet Banking – Regarding.

Madam / Sir,

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for issuing Interest Certificates to POSB depositors by generating the certificate from Finacle CBS at Post Office level was issued vide SB Order No. 38/2021 dated 23.11.2021.

For the convenience of Internet Banking customers, a facility has been introduced to download the Interest Certificate through the DOP Internet Banking portal. The technical patch for this feature was deployed on 30.04.2025.

Henceforth, DOP Internet Banking customers can download the Interest Certificate for:

• The Previous Financial Year
• The Current Financial Year

directly from the Internet Banking portal without visiting the post office.

Steps to Download:

1. Log in to the DOP Internet Banking portal.
2. Navigate to the Accounts Tab.
3. Click on the Interest Certificate option to download.

Action Required:

• Circulate these instructions to all post offices for compliance.
• Promote this facility actively to benefit POSB customers.
• Encourage customers to adopt Internet Banking services.

Approval:

• This order is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
