Subject: Allotment of annual PLI/RPLI incentive amount for FY 2025-26 – regarding

This communication pertains to the allotment of the annual PLI/RPLI incentive amount for FY 2025-26 to Circles for disbursement as incentives to the PLI and RPLI sales force.

Key Instructions:

• The competent authority has approved the allotment of the annual PLI/RPLI incentive amount, including GST, for FY 2025-26 (March 2025 to February 2026). The breakdown is provided in Annexure-I.
• GST payment on incentives must adhere to the SAP guidelines issued under PLI Directorate letter no. 29-09/2021-LI dated 16.09.2022.
• Incentive payments and GST must be recorded under the correct head of account/GL code.
• Circles must ensure corresponding Input Tax Credit (ITC) is accounted for.

Disbursement Process:

• Circles are to disburse incentives monthly from March 2025 to February 2026 without awaiting further directives from the PLI Directorate.
• Payments must not exceed the amounts specified in Annexure-I. Any unutilized funds will be considered surrendered.

Reconciliation:

• In the first week of March 2026, Circles must reconcile their disbursements with the allotted funds and report the status/requirements to the PLI Directorate.
• Any shortfall in incentive amounts will be addressed by the PLI Directorate upon receipt of Circle demands.

Approval:

• This directive is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
