Key Decisions and Discussions:

Agenda Items:

1. Increase in Fund Allocation for Sports Events

Proposal to raise the allocation limit from 30% to 40% of PSSWB grants.

Decision: Unanimously approved for submission to PSSWB.

2. Timely Release of Funds for AIP Events

Decision: 50% funds to be released upon submission of unaudited accounts (previous year) + audited accounts (year before). Remaining 50% after audit completion.

3. Sports Quota Recruitment Accountability

Decision: No mandatory participation required post-recruitment; transfers permitted as per rules.

4. 2-Hour Practice Leave for Athletes/Coaches

Decision: Already implemented (Ref: 20-01/2025-WL&Sp dated 14.05.2025).

5. Sports Quota Recruitment Alignment with AIP Calendar

Decision: DDG (Personnel) to examine feasibility under DOP&T rules.

6. TA/DA for AIP Tournament Participants

Decision: Proposal to DOP&T to treat AIP tournaments at par with national events.

7. Mobile Talktime/Data Allowance (₹400/month)

Decision: Approved for Section In-Charges (conditions apply).

8. Recognition of Additional Sports Federations

Decision: Under Ministry of Youth Affairs' purview; no action needed.

9. GDS Sports Quota Proposal

Decision: No provision exists; item closed.

10. Enhancement of Kit Allowance (₹1500+)

Decision: Proposals from Circles under review.

Additional Decisions:

  • Combined Teams for AIP Tournaments: CPMG Maharashtra and North East to explore feasibility.
  • Special Casual Leave for Non-Recognized Federations: Case-by-case approval by Directorate.

Action Points:

  • Welfare & Sports Section to follow up on fund proposals (Items 1, 2, 6).
  • Personnel Division to review sports quota recruitment (Item 5).
  • CPMGs Maharashtra & North East to draft combined-team proposal.
