Subject: Implementation of 40% Withdrawal Functionality for MSSC Scheme in Finacle - Reg.

Madam/Sir,

Kindly refer to SB Order 02/2025 dated 17.03.2025 regarding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the withdrawal process in Finacle.

2. In this regard, it is informed that the above-mentioned SB Order detailed the procedure for withdrawals, wherein the withdrawal amount was payable either in cash (within the prescribed limit), by credit to a Post Office Savings Account (POSA), or through a Postmaster Cheque Account. The option of crediting the withdrawal amount to other bank accounts via Electronic Clearance Service (ECS) was not available at that time.

3. It is informed that the option to withdraw the amount through ECS has now been enabled. Therefore, withdrawal amount can be paid now through following modes:

• By cash (within the prescribed limit),
• By credit to a Post Office Savings Account,
• Through a Postmaster Cheque Account, or
• Through ECS to other bank accounts.

4. It is requested to circulate this to all concerned for information, guidance and necessary action.

5. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
