OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Implementation of Order in OA No. 466/2020 (J Srinivasulu and others Vs Uol and others) in respect of seniority in PS Group 'B' cadre for the year 2022 – reg.

With reference to this Department OM of even number dated 12.07.2023, the draft seniority list of Postal Service Group 'B' officers for the year 2022 is issued herewith(Annexure-I) in consultation with the DE section.

2. The inter-se seniority has been assigned to officers promoted through PS Gr. 'B' LDCE 2018-2020 as per the merit position and instructions issued by Department letter No. 04-08/2019-SPN-I dated 11.12.2020.

3. The Circles/Units concerned are requested to validate the data on above draft SL and intimate discrepancy, if any, w.r.t. name, seniority, date of birth, date of joining, category, remarks etc. to SPG-II section of this department within 15 days with supporting documents. The Circles/Units are further requested to bring the above draft seniority lists to the notice of the individual officers and report the errors/omissions, if any.

4. Following points shall be noted while furnishing the information:

If any officer is not available in the Draft seniority list due to VRS, death, deputation, dismissal, etc., full details of such cases with relevant records may also be furnished.
If any officer included in the draft SL is working in a Circle/Unit other than the one indicated against his/her name in the draft SL, the Circle/Unit concerned, where he/she is presently posted may furnish the above information without referring the matter to this office.
