Deferment of Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 Campaign 5.0 on Sunday or Holidays

Subject: Objection regarding conduct of Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 Campaign 5.0 activities on Sundays and major festival days – Request for deferment

Support for Campaign: The staff fully supports the Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 Campaign 5.0 and is willing to participate in its activities.
Objection: Strong objection is raised against scheduling campaign activities on the following days:

These days hold religious, cultural, and family significance.
Staff are already under heavy workload due to APT 2.0, forced procurement of PLI policies, and delayed settlements of claims and GPF withdrawals.
Depriving staff of holidays adds to mental stress and resentment.

Requests:

Defer SHS activities scheduled on the mentioned Sundays and festival days.
Reschedule activities on regular working days to ensure participation without affecting family and cultural obligations.

Concerns:

Planning activities on holidays reflects insensitivity toward staff welfare.
If the request is ignored, staff may resort to trade union activities in protest.
Appeal: The writers urge the Chief PMG to intervene sympathetically and positively in the interest of staff welfare.
