Sub: Reminder – Ongoing problems, delays and issues in functioning of IT 2.0 – request for early resolution.
Respected Sir,
This is a reminder regarding our earlier communications on the functional and service-related difficulties faced by GDS employees, particularly in remote and rural areas. Across Circle and Regional Circle also received feedback that IT 2.0 is not functioning properly and frequent difficulties occur. Despite several reminders, issues are persisting. We once again underline for the need of urgent intervention.
The major difficulties reported include:
- Report does not display or function properly.
- Error in opening of dashboard.
- Account balance is showing zero balance.
- Non-reflection of collections and disbursements shown in the app.
- Difficulties in performing routine transactions.
- Error in processing of Aadhar-enabled payment services.
- Problems in cash withdrawal by customers.
- Incomplete updation of data from Branch to Head Office, resulting in gap of entries.
- Frequent server down and login failures.
- Non-synchronization of entries, leading to mismatch in balances.
- MIS reports are not generated properly.
- Mobile application is not working smoothly.
- Connectivity issues in rural areas, causing disruption in work.
- Recurring error messages while doing transactions.
- Time-consuming and slow processing, which increases workload and harassment of staff.
- Recurring problem of duplicate entries, however server shows error, which creates confusion among employees.
It is again submitted that these persistent difficulties continue to hamper day-to-day functioning, causing unnecessary delay and hardship to GDS employees and the public.
We, therefore, request you to kindly intervene without further delay, direct necessary technical and administrative measures, and ensure that IT 2.0 is made more effective, user-friendly, and functional even in rural and low-network areas.
With regards,
Yours faithfully,
(Sd/-)
S. S. Mahadevaiah
General Secretary
