SOP for handling mismatch between BODA and TCB in IT 2.0 in IMA APP

This document explains the process to be followed at Branch Office in order to handle certain exceptional issues that are noticed after implementation of same day accounting by integrating with IPPB/CBS/PLI/Mail Bookings. This process shall be limited to the period of rollout and shall be reviewed after completion of rollout.

However, due to various Operational/Integration/Network issues few practical scenarios are raised as tickets in which physical cash is not get tallied with the closing balance shown in Daily Account. In order to address these issues, following procedure to be followed.

a) Arriving at correct TCB figures :

a. Check the cash balance report under Cash and stamps options.

b. If cash balance is not correct as per physical cash wallet adjustment to be done under miscellaneous card.

Counter Operations→Miscellaneous

c. Do the amount entry for wallet adjustment receipts and Wallet Adjustment payments based on the requirement to arrive at correct cash balance.

d. Check that IMA wallet gets updated with the amount entered plus/minus.

e. Check Cash Balance updated after successful counter close account.

b) Correction of accounting entries for the cash balance mismatch:

a. Use the option Mismatch adjustments

b. Mis-Match Entry screen will be displayed as below:

c. Difference amount between Cash balance and Closing balance (BODA CB) will be displayed as Mismatched amount

d. Following adjustments can be made for correcting the Closing balance so that the closing balance and cash balance get tallied

e. Upon adding the details and click on submit. Closing balance will be updated and will reflect in the current date BODA

c) Fetching IPPB transactions of previous dates

a. Use the option cash & Stamps -> IPPB

b. IPPB data fetch screen will be displayed as below:
