Subject: Clarification-Introduction of new premium product "48 SPEED POST".

This is in continuation to this office letter of even number dated 19.12.2025 on the subject mentioned above.

The following clarifications in respect of “48 SPEED POST” are given as below:

(i) Keeping in view of Speed Post transit Norms for Local articles (1-2 days), the booking facility for Local articles shall not be allowed in “48 SPEED POST”, however, it will be available for “24 SPEED POST”.

(ii) Delivery facility will not be available on Sundays and holidays [para 5 (D) (e) of the SOP for 48 SPEED POST]

(iii) Bagging, Processing and Sorting pattern applicable for “48 SPEED POST” will same as normal Speed Post in case of RTS.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
