RPLI Bonus Rates 2026-27 – Official Gazette Announcement 2026

The Directorate of Postal Life Insurance has announced bonus rates for Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) for the 2026–27 financial year via Gazette Notification No. 13 dated January 16, 2026. Effective from April 1, 2026, the rates are:

• Whole Life Assurance: ₹60 per ₹1,000 sum assured
• Endowment Assurance (including Children's Policy): ₹48 per ₹1,000
• Anticipated Endowment Assurance (including Gram Priya policies): ₹45 per ₹1,000
• Convertible Whole Life Assurance: Whole Life rate applies initially; switches to Endowment rate upon conversion

The bonus calculation is based on the actuarial valuation of the Rural Post Office Life Insurance Fund as of March 31, 2025. All concerned authorities have been instructed to disseminate the information and update the bonus rates in the system
