Respected Sir,

This CHQ of Postal & RMS Pensioners Association received report from our State Associations that the issue of UPS payout is badly delayed making the NPS retirees who opted for UPS for uncertain period.

Ministry of Finance, Government of India had notified the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for eligible Central Government employees vide notification no. F no FX-1/3/2024-PR dated 24-01-2025. Many eligible NPS employees & retirees have given their option for UPS within the deadline of 30-11-2025. But benefit of this scheme as per Govt. notification not yet extended to the opted retirees in many States. And Payout order delayed very badly.

Report received from Tamilnadu State that PAO, Tamilnadu Circle, throwing accusing finger on Central Record keeping Agency for the delay. Both PAO & CRA are raising queries after queries and replied to the UPS beneficiaries that the delay in the UPS Payout order continues for one reason or other. This type of harassment are unexpected.

This CHQ request your kind honour to look into the matter and to arrange for issuing of proper instruction to concerned for immediate issue of UPS payout order immediately to overcome all the hurdles at te earliest for which reamin grateful.
