Sub: - Regarding insurance and 24X7 security arrangement for newly installed ATMs.

Kindly refer Rajasthan Circle letter no SB/11-2/ATM Security/Corr. /2025-26 dated 18.12.2025 in connection with the above-mentioned subject.

2. In this context, point wise reply is as below :-

1.	Status of Insurance coverage of newly installed ATM Machines :- Whether the insurance of machines has been arranged centrally or through DOP at Division Level.	Insurance coverage of newly installed ATM machines is included in the scope of the DOP ATM MSP (Managed Service Provider) vendor M/s CMS Ltd.
2.	Insurance of Cash Kept in ATMs- Whether the cash amount loaded in ATMs shall be insured by the installation/vendor agency or through the Department of Post at Division Level.	Insurance coverage of Cash Kept in the ATM machines is included in the scope of DOP ATM MSP (Managed Service Provider) vendor M/s CMS Ltd.
3.	24x7 Security Arrangement of ATMs :- Whether the responsibility for round the clock security deployment lies with the Department of Posts at Divisional level or is covered under the scope of the vendor.	The DOP ATM Managed Service Provider (MSP) M/s CMS Ltd. shall provide comprehensive e-surveillance and take complete responsibility for security at ATM sites. Circles may like to take decisions related to deployment of security guards at ATMs, keeping in view the prevailing security conditions.
