MEETING NOTICE

Subject: 5th Meeting of the Committee constituted to review the existing cadre structure of Postman and Mailguard, suggest different grades with designations, promotion criteria, duties/responsibilities and make recommendations in accordance with DoPT/DoE guidelines- reg.

A Committee on Cadre Restructuring of Postman and Mail Guard cadres has been constituted, under the Chairmanship of DDG (PMU & Tech) in this Directorate, to examine various issues relating to these cadres.

In the meeting of the Committee, held on 27.02.2026, it was decided to invite representatives from Service Unions/Associations also, in the next meeting of the Committee, scheduled to be held on 13.03.2026 (Friday) at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi.

In view of above, all the addressees are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting. DPS HQ, J&K Circle may kindly attend the meeting virtually. VC link will be shared shortly.
