Subject: Regarding launch of RIA Money Transfer Service (Non Cash Transactions) through DoP network.

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to state that the Competent Authority has approved the proposal to start RIA Money Transfer Service (Non Cash Transactions) as Sub Member of India Post Payments Bank. Initially, the RIA Money Transfer Service will be live in MATM and CBS for selected end users (approx. 25,000) to start with from immediate effect. Further, IPPB will enable the other end-users on the requirement basis. List of active end users will be provided by the respective IPPB Circle Heads.

2. In this regard, kindly find enclosed following documents for information and necessary action at Circle's end:-

(i) Standard Operating Procedure for MATM
(ii) Standard Operating Procedure for CBS
(iii) Provisional Standard Accounting Procedure for accounting of the commission payable by IPPB for facilitating these transactions
(iv) PBI Division's letter dated 15.09.2023 for providing suitable space at the identified locations to install IPPB & Ria Money co-branded signage, posters and welcome kit.

3. Therefore, it is requested to kindly issue necessary instructions to all concerned to start performing RIA Money Transfer (Non Cash Transactions) as per the prescribed operating procedures. It is further requested to extend support to IPPB officials for enabling training branding, marketing and local awareness campaign etc.
