Purpose

The Department of Posts has circulated the Draft All India Seniority List of Junior Translation Officers (JTOs) and invited comments from all concerned officials and Postal Circles before finalization.

• A copy of the draft seniority list of JTOs has been forwarded to all Chief Postmasters General.
• The list should be brought to the notice of all concerned officials.

• If no representation is received by the due date, it will be presumed that the entries in the draft list are accepted by all concerned.

• Verify particulars of officials belonging to their Circle/Unit.
• Report any discrepancies, corrections, omissions, or additions to the Directorate within the stipulated period.

Email Submission

• Corrections and related information may also be sent through email to the Directorate.

Approval

• The communication has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Contents of the Draft Seniority List

The enclosed draft list contains details of JTO officials such as:

• Name of the official
• Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC)
• Date of Birth
• Date of Joining
• Recruiting Agency/Examination
• Examination Year
• Circle/Unit
• Date of Retirement

1. Circulate the draft seniority list among all concerned JTO officials.
2. Verify service particulars of officials belonging to the Circle.
3. Submit representations, corrections, omissions, or additions by 20 August 2026.
