Subject: - Extension of abeyance of applicability of revised Comprehensive Guidelines for conducting written public examinations dated 01.08.2025 for Persons with Disabilities under the RPwD Act, 2016.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to refer to this office' letter of even number dated 09.04.2026 vide which a copy of OM No. P-13013/75/2023-Policy-DD-III dated 30.03.2026, issued by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) (DEPwD) on the subject mentioned above, was forwarded to all the Postal Circles/Units (copy enclosed) for information and necessary action.

Now, DEPwD vide their OM dated 25 June, 2026, has kept in abeyance the applicability of the revised Guidelines dated 01.08.2025 beyond 30.06.2026 and up to 31.12.2026. A copy of DEPwD instructions is attached herewith for reference and strict compliance.

Circles are requested to bring the contents of the DEPwD OM dated 25 June, 2026 to the notice of all field establishments under their jurisdiction.

This issues with the approval of “Competent Authority”.
