Subject: Implementation of order dated 28.11.2025 passed by Hon'ble CAT, Ernakulum Bench in OA No.194/2023 filed by Shri Swaraj Nair & Others – LDCE for promotion to PS Group ‘B’ cadre for the vacancy year 2017-18 and subsequent years – reg.

Whereas, to comply with the directions passed by Hon'ble CAT, Ernakulum Bench vide order dated 28.11.2025 in OA No.194/2023, the Department has decided to fill up the 25 shortfall vacancies of LDCE quota for the vacancy year 2017-18, consequently, the vacancy position under LDCE quota for the vacancy year 2017-18 stands changed i.e. from NIL to 25.

2. Now, therefore, the eligibility and suitability of the LDCE appeared candidates, for promotion to the cadre of PS Group B for the vacancy year 2017-18, is to be assessed on the basis of their performance in LDCE held on 29.11.2020 for the vacancy years 2017-18, 2018, 2019 and 2020 (result declared on 01.06.2022).

3. Accordingly, a tentative list (Annexure-I) of the eligible and appeared candidates of the said LDCE has been prepared and is being published hereby on IndiaPost website for information of all concerned. In case, the list requires any updation, the rectification/objection may be raised via e-mail (Annexure-II) latest by 08.07.2026 (1730 hours) through respective Circle Authorities.

4. The Circle Authorities are required to authenticate the tentative list of LDCE appeared candidates as also the modification/addition brought to their knowledge by any affected eligible candidate and the same be submit to this office positively by 10.07.2026.

5. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
