The Department of Posts has issued an official order conveying the Competent Authority’s approval for transfers and postings of officers belonging to the Indian Postal Service (IPoS), Group ‘A’, as part of the rebalancing and rationalization of administrative units across postal circles. The objective is to enhance administrative efficiency, business development, and revenue generation within the Department.

The order includes:

Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) transfers involving officers such as Parimal Sinha, Rajeev Umrao, Sumitha Ayodhya, Priti Agarwal, Ashok Kumar Yadav, A. Saravanan, Sunil Kumar Rai, and Alok Ojha, posted to various circles including West Bengal, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, J&K, and Assam.

Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) transfers covering officers from Ram Vilas Chaudhary to Priyanka Gupta, with postings across multiple circles such as Kerala, Delhi, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Assam.

The order directs that relevant charge reports be submitted in due course and that the Hindi version will follow. Copies have been circulated to all senior officials, including the Hon’ble Minister of Communications, Secretary (Posts), Members of the Postal Services Board, Chief Postmasters General, and other concerned authorities.
