LDCE IP 2026: Department of Posts Seeks Vigilance Status and Candidate Details from Circles

Subject: LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) for the vacancy year 2026, held on 26th & 27th September, 2026 – latest vigilance report/status and other information – reg. 

Madam/ Sir,
I am directed to refer to the above subject and to request all the Circles to furnish the following information: 
i. Vigilance Status: Latest Vigilance Clearance Report in respect of all candidates who appeared in the said LDCE. The report should include complete details of disciplinary/criminal cases pending, if any, against the concerned candidates along with specific recommendations regarding declaration of his/her result. In this regard, the instructions contained in the DoP letter No. X-7/6/2022-SPN-II dated 17.05.2023 followed by clarifications dated 22.09.2023 and 04.03.2024 may strictly be observed. 

ii. Senior/Junior Case(s) – the complete details of candidates (if any) who were permitted to appear in the said LDCE, based on the grounds that his/her junior(s) was allowed to appear in the LDCE IP-2026, keeping in view of the SPN-II Section's clarifications issued vide OMs No. X-07/5/2025/SPN-II-DOP dated 17.10.2025 and dated 28.10.2025. 

iii. Persons with Disability(ies) – the details of all eligible PwBD candidates who appeared in the said LDCE, along with the nature of disability (VH/HH/OH/Ors.) and the percentage of disability (40% and above).

2. The requisite information as on 02.11.2026 may please be furnished to this office latest by 04.11.2026. Further, if there are any changes to this vigilance report after its submission, this office must be informed immediately.
