Eligibility of GDS for the APY
GDS are eligible for Atal Pension Yojana Scheme (APY) but there will not be any contribution from government to those GDS who are members of SDBS (Service Discharge Benefit Scheme). Extract of e-mail received from CBS division of Directorate is reproduced below:
