Pay revision by month-end: Minister

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala inaugurating the Kerala Gazetted Officers Union State meet at Adoor on Sunday evening.

The State government will implement the recommendations of the 10th pay revision commission by the month-end, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said.

Mr. Chennithala was inaugurating the State meet of the Kerala Gazetted Officers Union at Adoor on Sunday evening.

‘Work better’

He further stressed the need to step up government employees’ work proficiency. V.S. Sivakumar, Health Minister; K.Babu, Excise Minister; Adoor Prakash, Revenue Minister; Anto Antony, Kodikkunnil Suresh, MPs; K. Sivadasan Nair, P.C.Vishnunath, MLAs; Pazhakulam Madhu, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee secretary; V.G.Rajan Babu, KGOU convener, and P. Mohanraj, District Congress Committee president, spoke on the occasion. C. Rajan Pillai, KGOU State president, presided over the function.

The State meet will come to a close on Monday.
