Please find attached the extracts of Para 8.16.14 on the above report on Uniform Related Allowances. In this regard 7th Central Pay Commission has recommended that other categories of Staff who are supplied uniform and are required to wear them regularly should be provided Dress Allowance (including Shoes) which will be payable at the rate of Rs.5000 per year, the Ministries/Departments can take a decision that on whether the rate should be Rs.5000 per year or Rs.10,000 per year.

2.It is requested that your comments in this matter may please be provided to this Department, preferably by 08-02-2016, so that a view can be taken.
