Speednet Version 4.4 Update 1 dated 16.06.2016

Introduction: 

Speednet 4.4 version was released on 20.03.2016. The current update is necessitated due to introduction of Krishi Kalyan Cess with effect from 01.06.2016.

Instructions for Upgradation:

• Execute the 3 script files viz., SP_V441_POSPCC07062016.exl, SP_V441_POSPCCBACKUP07062016.exl and ECounter09052016.exl above using Script Tool. 
• Copy the SpeedOne Updater.exe to the Speednet installation folder in the client system and run it by double clicking. 
• Use the Replace DLLs n EXE option to upgrade the client.
• Use Replace Speed net Communication EXE option to upgrade communication application.
• Copy the BNPLDataCorrection.exe to Speednet folder and run it to upgrade the local databases.
• For Collection Agent Booking Module: Download and copy the CollectionAgent.EXE to the Collection Agent folder in the system having Collection Agent Booking Module
• Log files generated at the time of execution of scripts will be available under 'Speednet --> DB Scripts --> Logs' folder of the Client machine from which the upgradation was attempted. 
• A check list has been provided to assist administrators in carrying out a meticulous error free installation. Take a print out of the check list and mark the completed activities for your own reference. This will ensure that no step is missed out. 

Known Issues

It is noticed that the latest EXE for Speed net Communication is not getting replaced during up gradation process due to OS restrictions on EMS Client folder or use of Speed net Communication at the time of upgradation. To resolve the issue, the following steps can be carried out 

a. Browse for the file Speednet Communication.exe available in the 'Speed net Client' folder of the machine in which Speed One Updater.exe has been executed for upgradatoin. 

b. Manually copy the 'Speednet Communication_exe' to EMSClient folder and rename this file as 'Speednet Communication.exe' allowing copy/overwriting.
