Device registration process in IT2.0

Admin (Divisional Head) Responsibilities:

• Log in to data sanitization module to onboard assets (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobiles)
• Enter device counts to auto-generate sequential asset numbers
• Assign System Administrators for each office
• Ensure admin contact details are captured for OTP authentication
• Distribute setup files/apps to nominated officials

Desktop/Laptop Registration:

• Install "DoPSecureConnect EXE" (Windows 10+ only)
• OTP authentication via registered mobile number

Captured hardware details:

• CPU Serial Number

• Motherboard Encrypted ID

• System UUID

• Make/Model/OS details

Tablet/Mobile Registration:

• Install dedicated app from portal
• Generates unique virtual UUID
• Encrypted storage on device

Verification Process:

• DO login portal verifies all registered devices
• Only authenticated devices can access IT 2.0 Solution

Technical Requirements:

• Windows 10+ for desktops/laptops
• Compatible browsers (pre-communicated)
• Mobile app for tablets/smartphones
