Subject: Extension of time period for submission of Postal Circle preference from selected candidates recommended by Staff Selection Commission, on the basis of CGLE – 2024, for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant in Department of Posts - regarding.

Reference is made to Department of Posts letter No. W-04/2/2025-SPNI-DOP dated 04.04.2025 and corrigendum dated 05.04.2025, which advised candidates recommended by SSC (based on CGLE 2024) for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant to submit their preferences via the Online Portal by 14.04.2025.

The deadline for submission of Postal Circle preferences has been extended to 20th April 2025. Candidates who have not yet submitted their preferences are advised to register on the web portal and indicate preferences for all 23 Postal Circles. No further extensions will be granted.
